Welcome Reception
Sunday 24 November
Gold Coast International Hotel
6.30pm - 8.30pm
Take the opportunity to relax with new and old friends at the official Symposium welcome reception. Attendance is included for all registrants. Additional tickets may be purchased for AUD$45 per person.

Student Reception
Monday 25 November
Gold Coast International Hotel
8.00pm - 9.00pm
Students are invited to attend a student reception sponsored by the World Aquaculture Society. Attendance is for students only.

Symposium Dinner
Thursday 28 November
Sea World Marine Park, Main Beach
7.00pm - 11.00pm
The dinner will be one of the Symposium highlights as it includes a behind the scenes tour of Sea World. After the tour, delegates will be able to enjoy a sumptuous banquet. Attendance is included for all registrants. Additional tickets may be purchased for AUD$95 per person and includes coach transfers.

Optional BBQ Dinner
Tuesday 26 November
Hard Rock Café, Surfers Paradise
Cost: AUD$35 per person
Enjoy a relaxing evening at one of Surfers Paradise's icons. With regular live entertainment and enough rock memorabilia to fill Davy Jones' Locker, the Hard Rock Café will leave you righteously stoked! A traditional Aussie BBQ will be served (free of pork products). Beverages will be at your own cost.

Option 1
Aquaculture Farm Technical Tour
Gold Coast Marine Aquaculture Farm, Woongoolba
1.00pm - 5.00pm `
Cost: AUD$25 per person

Gold Coast Marine Aquaculture is a large prawn hatchery and grow-out farm located near the Logan River. A bus will take participants to the farm and on a tour around the ponds and facilities. Refreshments will be provided.

Option 2
Golf Afternoon
Palms Course, Sanctuary Cove Resort
1.00pm - 6.30pm
Cost: AUD$85 per person

The Palms Course at Sanctuary Cove is a world renowned championship golf course. Take time out with colleagues for a friendly golf competition. Cost also includes coach transfers and golf cart.

Option 3
Australian Wildlife Experience
Currumbin Bird Sanctuary
1.00pm - 5.30pm
Cost: AUD$35 per person

Experience Australian wildlife at the magnificent Currumbin Sanctuary where you will be able to feed kangaroos and other Australian wildlife. The native bird feeding is a spectacle not to be missed. Cost includes park entry and coach transfers.
